Initial Fault:The generator for an industrial ultrasonic cleaning tank arrived at our facility completely dead, with no power output and no indicator lights. The customer reported their parts cleaning process was completely halted due to the failure.

Our Solution:Our technicians began with a full diagnostic evaluation. After careful disassembly, the unit underwent a thorough cleaning to remove industrial contaminants and prepare it for safe component-level testing.

Diagnostics revealed a failure in the high-frequency power output stage, including several shorted IGBTs and a faulty driver IC on the control board. Beyond the immediate fault, our analysis showed that several electrolytic capacitors were testing out of tolerance—a common failure point in power electronics operating under stress.

To enhance long-term reliability, we performed a proactive "recap" of the board. We replaced not only the failed power components but also these high-wear capacitors that were likely to fail in the future.

Following the component-level repairs, the OMG9002-40U was reassembled and subjected to rigorous testing. We connected the unit to an appropriate transducer load and ran it through multiple cycles, verifying stable power output and correct ultrasonic frequency generation using an oscilloscope. The fully tested and refurbished unit was then securely packaged and returned to the customer with our comprehensive 2-year repair warranty, getting their critical cleaning process back up and running.
